Mango Licks

Mango Licks was inspired by a love that’s as pure as it is personal—Paulami’s deep bond with her golden retriever, Mango. Driven by her desire to provide healthy, nutritious snacks for her furry friend and noticing a glaring gap in the market for clean, additive-free pet products, Paulami rolled up her sleeves and began creating her own. From salt-free, sugar-free, and gluten-free treats like cookies, munchies, and chew sticks, to sweets, peanut butter, and meal toppers, every product is crafted with care for all canine companions.

When Paulami approached us, she needed a versatile packaging solution that could be customised for any of the delicious creations coming out of her kitchen. The challenge was to create packaging that was not only functional but also resonated with the love and dedication that go into each treat.

Having seen countless reels of Mango eagerly sampling fresh batches of homemade goodies, it was clear—Mango had to be the heart and face of the brand. We knew that the playful spirit and trustworthiness of Mango would resonate with pet parents everywhere. Thus, the “Mango Approved Treats” stamp became a central feature of the packaging, symbolising the quality and care that goes into each product.

Understanding the importance of clear communication with pet parents, we included thoughtful notes on the packaging, gently reminding them of the importance of providing specially formulated treats for their pets. We also designed the packaging with a customizable section where Paulami could personally jot down details like the recipient’s name, the type of product, and other important specifics—adding a heartfelt, personal touch to each order.

The result was a packaging design that not only met Paulami’s practical needs but also beautifully encapsulated the love, quality, and personal care that defines Mango Licks. Paulami quickly embraced the new design, and it has since become an integral part of every order from her small but beloved pupcakery.
